Appointments
The Triangle Group Surgery operates an appointment system. Appointments with a doctor or nurse must be made beforehand. Walk-in appointments are available only for children during the evening surgery every day from 3 - 5:50pm.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

Results over the phone
Results of smears, swabs, x-rays and blood tests are available by phone between 3:00pm – 6:00pm, for the patient only. Please note that results normally take one week to be notified to the Practice. It is the patient’s responsibility to follow-up on their test results

A Pre-Booked Appointment Surgery is run from 09:00 - 12:00 on the first Saturday of each month.

Repeat prescriptions may be handed in and collected from reception and new patients may register with the practice during these opening hours.

clock An appointment system is in operation. Routine appointments with a doctor can be made by telephone, in person or online from 2:30pm, 24hrs, 48hrs, 1 week or 2 weeks in advance. Requests may be made to see the doctor of your choice.

On-the-day appointments are available for urgent consultations. Please call at 8:30am to make an appointment for that day.

Children’s open access 'emergency surgery' is available every weekday afternoon from 3pm-5:50pm, except Wednesday from 3.30pm - 5.50pm. (Emergencies for elderly patients may be accepted at this time).

ON-THE-DAY appointments are available for urgent consultations. You must phone at 8:30am to make an appointment.

IMPORTANT: Additional telephone and online appointments are released EVERYDAY (Monday - Friday) at 2:30pm. If you are unable to make a booking today, please try again tomorrow at 2:30pm.

Online appointment bookings are only for routine appointments. You are required to register for ONLINE ACCESS at the practice (in person) beforehand in order to book appointments online. Registration for ONLINE ACCESS is different from registering as a patient. This is a separate registration which allows you to access our appointment system online and is only required once. You will be given a patient ONLINE ACCESS registration form which can only be given to you in person for confidentiality reasons. This form will contain data which you will need to log onto our ONLINE ACCESS system to book appointments AND to request for repeat prescriptions.

Home Visits

contact us If you are housebound or too ill to come to the Practice, a doctor may visit you at home. Please phone before 11am. We normally visit in the afternoon, after the morning surgery.

Before visiting you, the doctor may phone you to check whether they can assist you over the phone in the first instance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
