Appointments
The Triangle Group Surgery operates an appointment system. Appointments with a doctor or nurse must be made beforehand. Walk-in appointments are available only for children during the evening surgery every day from 3 - 5:50pm.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

Results over the phone
Results of smears, swabs, x-rays and blood tests are available by phone between 3:00pm – 6:00pm, for the patient only. Please note that results normally take one week to be notified to the Practice. It is the patient’s responsibility to follow-up on their test results

inhalerAsthma and Hypertension Management

These appointments provide routine checks for patients with asthma and high blood pressure. Advice on self-help and monitoring is available.

Diabetes Clinic

  • Wednesday: 9:00 – 9:40am By appointment (Nurse)

This clinic offers routine checks for patients with diabetes. Dietary advice and routine checks are provided by the nurse. Medications are reviewed and prescriptions are issued by the doctor.

redcrossMinor Surgery Clinic

  • Tuesday: 5:00 – 5:40pm By appointment (Doctor)

The Minor Surgery clinic offers the removal of moles, skin tags and other ‘lumps and bumps’. Injections for muscles, tendons, shoulders and joints are also performed at the surgery by the doctor.

Warts and Verruca Clinic

  • Every third Wednesday: 4:00 – 5:00pm By appointment (Nurse)

The Verruca clinic provides the removal of warts and verrucas using cryotherapy (localised freezing).

Substance and Alcohol Misuse Services

  • Monday – Friday (Anytime) By appointment (Doctor)

Advice and limited treatment is available.

Well Person Checks

  • Monday – Friday (Anytime) By appointment (Doctor/ Nurse)

These checks include general health advice (smoking, alcohol, basic sexual health) and check-ups (blood pressure, weight, height). Female patients may have cervical smears and general information on breast self-examination. Male patients may get advice on testicular self examination.

Counselling is available but appointments cannot be made directly. An appointment must first be made with a Doctor, who will then refer you if appropriate. This is NOT an emergency service.

Citizens Advice Bureau

  • Wednesday: 10:00 – 11:30am By appointment (CAB Representative)

A Citizens Advice Bureau representative is available by appointment to discuss any issues surrounding benefits, housing, education and debt management.

Smoking Cessation

  • Thursday: 12:30 – 3:15pm By appointment (Smoking Cessation Advisor)

A Smoking Cessation advisor is available by appointment to discuss individual stop smoking plans and issues around smoking cessation
